I observed that your restaurant charging 20rs for a 10rs Thumbs Up, which appears to be a significant price difference compared to what I expected. Could you please provide me with some clarification on this pricing? I'm sure there might be reasons behind it, and I'd like to understand why there is such a difference in pricing. Good ambience but not that great taste overall. Few items tasted good, but most are not. Biryani is very dry felt like eating raw rice. Only good is reasonable cost but Haleem is overpriced compared to quantity and taste.
We are regular here for full biryani u PPL gave us a piece of chicken which we get for mini biryani seriously it's better in mehfil they give two full big pc of chicken for full biryani it's my last biryani from Astoria I even wanted to post the photo to show the size of piece. Of chicken
My childhood restaurant :) I've been dining here since my childhood, (when I used to come back home from my school, my god those Nostalgic days) My All time Favorite here is 1. Ginger chicken (gravy) and Butter Naan roti's 2. Roasted chicken. II strongly recommend these two. I still visit this restaurant and the taste is exactly the same. :)
Food is good but service is no good Atmosphere good
I was told that, it is a good place quick lunch and great Biryani but I was pretty disappointed with Biryani and others. Ordered chicken biryani, drum sticks, Prawns and mutton Biryani. Mutton biryani was ok but chicken biryani is below average . Pranws were amazing though. Just amazing. Melted in the mouth just like Butter. And drumsticks were just worse. They are dry, crunchy patty outside is tastes like burnt flour.

New Astoria has been recently renovated from a fire accident. The interiors and ambiance is fine. Cutlery looks very old and has to be wipes with tissues when presented. Menu is vast and has wide of options for both veg and non veg. The quality of food is average when compared to restaurants around it. Hospitality is also so so. Overall due to advantage of locality this restaurant can be visited rather than for its taste and ambiance.
