Nevta Lake (Dam) - Featured Reviews (311)
This lake is a delightful surprise in the arid state of Rajasthan. However, keep in mind that it can overflow during heavy rains, so be cautious. It's a stunning picnic spot on breezy, cloudy days and perfect for a scenic long drive. In the evenings, you can spot many birds, including cranes, adding to its charm. The sunsets here are breathtaking. It can also be an attraction for pre-wedding shoots. Just be aware of a few individuals who may disrupt the peaceful atmosphere by drinking in the area.
Nice view all around the lake great place for some good photos you can sit there and feel some fresh air But the water and the area near to it is not very clean and the road near the lake is broken and there are so many potholes don't go in rainy season all the road will be blocked and mud will be there
The presence of debris and garbage tarnishes the otherwise a good scenic view. This was my second visit with family and all I saw was men coming up to the mound and smoke. Broken beer bottles here and there. Certainly not a place to visit with your family. The air was smelling badly due to the garbage present in and out of the lake . The site has potential and can be turned around to create a beautiful tourist spot. Just a visitor trying to spread awareness and hoping that the concerned authorities read this. P.S. I noticed many fish afloat dead in the waters of Nevta Lake. The length of those fish must have been between 2' to 3'. Have to be due to water pollution. Saw some fishermen too.
A large scale Lake. But the water of lake is polluted and smells very bad. We visited there in rainy day so it was a great experience. There is no shop for refreshments. You can visit there.
One of my favorite places in Jaipur. So peaceful, calm and beautiful. The school and college around it ruined the vibe and nature but the backside is still the same. It's a lake where sometimes migratory birds visit. A little bit of wildlife is still there but the fisheries don't allow birds to stay there especially pelicans because they eat big fishes. This is sad. Winters here are the best...
This place is ok for a one time visit. The surrounding of the lake was not clean. There were no sign boards to reach this place. Also Google was also not able to show the correct location. No proper roads to reach this place. Also there was no vendor or shops anywhere near it. Not a suitable place to go with elders
