Subhash Mela, Kali Puja , Book Mela etc is very well done at Subas Maidan

Its a moderately huge ground in the most prime position of Madhyamgram chowmatha that holds numerous annual fairs or melas and concerts. Due to sudden rains the ground often gets soaked with mud, so it's inconvenient sometimes. Not to mention how enormous crowds it attracts. From Subhash mela in the month of January to various environmental fair, trade fairs, food fairs to its magnificent Durga Puja and Kali Puja pandel in October, this ground stays engaged for the greater part of the year.

A lot of events happen in this ground. Starting from puja to mfair in different seasons, enviornment awreness programmes organized by difderent school. Need a more effort in maintenance, but the ground is quite a huge place for organising any event.

The ground is located at the prime place of Madhyamgram chowrasta. Various Mela and such types of functions are organised here. Subhash Mela, Durga Pooja, Kali Pooja ... Etc. are popular here. But it requires development and more careful maintenance to make the events more enjoyable. Rain causes problems while an event is going on.

This is a huge ground. In the January month arrange a Mela on 23rd, over 25 years go on this Mela in that ground. Except this some poribesh swacheton mela, kali puja also held in this ground. Nice and clean covered with boundary. In my childhood we are waiting for the suvas mela.. Name of this ground comes from the Suvas mela.

This place is although thought to be under private ownership but later it came to government control. It's having rich history of hosting pujas, melas and many other such festivities.

This place holds the annual Subhash Mela(A Carnival held in regards to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose) in the month of January and its always a lovely time spent, the rest of the year its empty for people to play and sometimes other melas do take place but the main next in line attraction is during the Kali-Puja/Diwali time when this ground holds one of the best made puja pandal acompanied by small eateries and live stage performances.
