Netaji statue situated at middle of Ranaghat town. The freedom fighter and the first prime minister of independent India, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose came at Ranaghat in very first of 20th century . He took part a road march from this road. In memory of that, the name of this road is Subhas Avenue, and the Statue situated at the middle of this road . This is few minutes straight far from Ranaghat Railway Station .
