Netaji Museum - Heritage museum in Puri - Puri, India

Hard to believe that NSC Bose museum is situated within 5km range or Puri Railway Station. Really amazing institute, a collection of Netaji's lifetime achievement and various memorable things like letters, notice, stamps, along with Netaji's life sketches. 2 storey bunglow with decorative garden.

It's a small sized museum dedicated to netaji subhash chandra Bose's life. It is located in puri, Odisha very near to jaigannath mandir and golden beach (about 1.5 kms far from both the places). Entry ticket is very basic maybe about 20 inr. As an Indian, I think we all should visit places like this to educate ourselves about our freedom fighter's life.

If you want to go to this place don't hire an auto. They charge quite high. The lane beside Puri Hotel goes to this place. Very near from Swargadwar as well as OTDC panthaniwas. There is 5/- entry fee / person. Netaji's history and pictures are there.

Netaji Museum is situated in Puri. This is built and maintained on the ancestral property of the famous freedom fighter - the brave Netaji Subash Chandra Bose. The house belonged to his father, Janakinath Bose. The galleries in the Museum are neatly displaying old photographs and letters written by Netaji. The charts displayed here cover the time-line of Netaji's life, starting from his birth to his early education to his time in the Congress to his role in the Indian freedom struggle by forming the Indian National Army (INA). Much information about the working of the INA has been provided here too. Newspaper Clips, old photographs, coins and currency issued by the INA are displayed here in full glory. This is a much visit place for history buffs and tourists in general to learn and experience the life of the legendary Netaji in a very unique way. The price of ticket is Rs. 10 per person. The Museum is open from 10 AM to 5 PM. Children will enjoy it too. It is not very crowded so it is easy to enjoy here.

It's a small museum in memory of Netaji Subash Chandra Bose. Originally it was his own house which later Orissa govt converted as a museum.
