Well maintained and must visit. The visit of Kolkata is incomplete without seeing this temple of freedom. He has such a simple life. His room with bed has been kept intact alongside his mother's bed. Today we enjoy the free India. You are forced to think why a man living with all the luxury suddenly puts his life at stake
It was wonderful experience to be in the house of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. Nicely maintained museum. Clean and calm place. It's really honor to walk through the corridors where once netaji used to walk and grew up. This place need to be visited.
Best place to visit with friends,family and even for school students. Netaji bhawan is a place where our national hero Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose used to live. It is located just opposite of forum Mall . Nearest metro station:Rabindra Sadan Entry fees: Rs20 for adults and Rs10 for children. On the first floor rooms of Netaji is present and on the second floor they have the museum. They have maintained everything quite well.

Don't forget to read each and every word. There are two rooms of photo galleries taking you to the era of our freedom struggle. His footsteps are depicted so nicely that I could not resist taking a photograph. I don't know why the photography is prohibited. Today we enjoy the free India. You are forced to think why a man living with all the luxury suddenly puts his life at stake. Just to liberate his fellow citizens' souls.

Netaji Bhawan or Netaji Bhavan a heritage building in Kolkata, West Bengal, maintained as a memorial and research center to the life of the Indian nationalist "Netaji" Subhas Chandra Bose. It is currently the headquarters of Netaji Research Bureau. The house, built by Bose's father in 1909, is owned and managed by the Netaji Research Bureau and includes a museum, archives and library. The Bureau is run by Sugata Bose and his mother, Krishna Bose. The building is on Lala Lajpat Rai Sarani in Kolkata. Bose escaped from house arrest at Netaji Bhawan in 1941 and fled to Berlin. After that, he traveled to Japan-occupied Southeast Asia by submarine (German U-boat U-180 and Japanese submarine I-29), organized Indian National Army, and fought against British Raj with the Imperial Japanese Army.

Visited this absolutely beautiful , well maintained heritage site during the most auspicious occasion of durga puja . The traditional idol of the goddess and the decorations including the alpona and chadoa made it a great experience.
