One of the restaurants in the IISc campus. Good ambience but seems understaffed. Too much waiting when the place gets busy. Typical north Indian menu available with veg, non-veg options. Other centres and canteens offer a better experience.

Excellent food quality at reasonable rates in plush green campus of Indian Institute of Bangalore. Breakfast, lunch dinner everything is great to go for. This restaurant is located near to entry gate and Central office building.

Two of my friends and I arrived at the restaurant by 1pm. It was quite busy. We got a seat by 1.15 only. We asked for a menu. Instead of providing us the menu, after 15 mins of our nonstop asking them, they told us if we order veg thali it will get done faster. We said we wanted to have a look at the menu first but the waiter gave us a look as if we were so annoying and he was tired of us. For the next 10 to 15 minutes, the waiter was avoiding us. Two groups had eaten already and left the table next to us. By 2 pm, we were tired and asked another waiter (probably a cashier lending an extra hand) and he took our order. We wanted 1 chicken Schezwan fried rice and 2 chicken biryani. He said chicken biryani was sold out. We changed our order to 2 chicken Schezwan fried rice and 1 veg biryani. We got the veg biryani soon. And then they brought us one chicken fried rice. We had SPECIFICALLY told Schezwan. When we told the waiter that, he said Schezwan is just a bit of red colouring added to the fried rice. We were so annoyed and told him that we wanted what we asked for. By then it was already 2.10pm. We had a lecture to attend at 2 pm. By the time we got our order it was 2.20pm. The waiters were so unapologetic the whole time. But nevertheless I had had masala dosa for breakfast there the same day. It was heaven.

Very bad service by staff. Very lazy people. Bad hygeine. Nonsense rates. Will only serve what they want to serve. Food menu is just for show, they don't keep anything. Waste space inside campus. Some other caterer should be assigned who actually wants to serve.

Food is good and the service too, thought it to be as inexpensive as the other places in IISC but it is similar to other restaurants that you would find outside if not for a tad bit reasonable considering the quality. The place is always filled with a lot of people during lunch time on weekdays and getting a seat is a bit of a hassle and you need to wait. The ambience is good and the place is kept clean and well maintained throughout.

Took forever to deliver food and at end they only delivered two dishes out of four. We thought that the other two were being prepared. After asking out it turned out that the ingredients ran out so neither did they prepare the dish nor they bothered about telling us this fact. Don't waste time, rather go to sarwan, sarwan has better service and food.

One of the cheapest and best option for breakfast in Indian Institute of Science for whom who wants a tummy full with healthy sumptuous food served on your plate with lots condiments.

Serving Food in IISC need to mainten cleanliness and heganic. Plateware and spoon's was very dirty. Some of service boy very oragant.
