Such a wonderful experience. Cauvery, being one of the holy rivers, considered sacred to bathe in, has its best flow here. Even though the place might seem deserted, once you reach the banks of the river, you tend to forget the ambience you had passed through. However it's advisable to visit during daylight as for the surroundings concerned. Overall, a must visit spot.
The place is kind of deserted, and overgrown bushed and trees. Looks like no maintenance activities carried out for a very long time, refer the below photo. So you won't feel safe with family here. Please be watchful.

Very worst & high risk in river side
This is one of the most precious river... I've been here thrice. The water is clean and anyone can enjoy. There s a temple nearby which is very silent. The flower "nagalinga malar" is very precious.
After a long long time water in cauvery. A sight to behold. Dye to strong swirling current I did not venture into water. The entire water supply to karur is from here only. The beauty and calmness probably attracted the nerur sadasiva brahmendra swamigal
No essential things such as toilet. Dress changing rooms.Drunkers throw bottles along the path. Insecurity to the devotees and peoples.
Nice place to see...really peaceful...Cauvery flows North-South here...a rare event I think...
