Nerpapara Falls is a magnificent waterfall located in Palakkad, Kerala. The falls are situated in a dense forest and surrounded by lush greenery, making it a popular destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers. As I approached the falls, I could hear the roaring sound of the water from a distance. The path leading to the falls was flanked by tall trees and bushes, and the air was filled with the sweet scent of wildflowers. I could feel the excitement building up inside me as I got closer and closer to the falls. Finally, I reached the entrance of the falls, where I was greeted by a small ticket booth. After purchasing my ticket, I started my descent towards the falls. The path was steep and rocky, but the view was worth the effort. I could see the waterfall from a distance, and it was a breathtaking sight. As I got closer to the falls, I could feel the mist from the water spraying on my face. The falls were surrounded by rocks and boulders, and the water was cascading down from a height of about 100 feet. The water was crystal clear, and I could see small fish swimming in the pools at the bottom of the falls. The sound of the water was deafening, and I could feel the force of the falls shaking the ground beneath my feet. I sat down on a rock near the falls and took in the beauty of the surroundings. The air was cool and refreshing, and the sound of the water was calming and therapeutic. As I sat there, I noticed a group of tourists getting ready to take a dip in the pool beneath the falls. The water was icy cold, but they seemed to be having a great time. I decided to join in and took a dip in the pool as well. The water was invigorating, and I felt refreshed and energized. After spending a few hours at the falls, I made my way back to the entrance. On my way back, I noticed several small stalls selling snacks and souvenirs. I picked up a few souvenirs for my friends and family and bid farewell to the falls. In conclusion, Nerpapara Falls is a must-visit destination for anyone visiting Palakkad. The falls are a natural wonder and offer a unique experience that cannot be found anywhere else. If you are a nature lover or an adventure seeker, Nerpapara Falls should definitely be on your bucket list.

We have to drive little further from Google Map's location until we find a big Tall tree beside which has a small path. Few mins walk only to reach the exact spot. Amazing scenic spot. It was drizzling when we reached there. Water was very less though kids loved it but I believe during monsoon it will be more water and more fun. A good family spot.

I think we visited this place only. But the people around called this place ollichapara. The best clear water you can get. The water is cold and so refreshing. Usually everyone climbs straight upward but people misses a small pond like structure that is located to the side of the stream. You have to walk through the water to reach there i have posted a photo of that spot. Overall amazing place to hang out. It is a good spot for familes to spend time.
