This is one of the most popular vegetarian hotel in kanchipuram for the past more than 70 years . In good old days too Tiffin and meals were tasty. One of the famous vegetarian hotel near Bus stand and kamakshi amman temple. Nowdays taste reduced. someout what better. Spaccious place. No crowd and rush. But make a note they accept only cash, no card or upi payment modes available.
One thing we liked most about this place is we could get lunch which was almost without garlic. Only Rasam had garlic. All curries and sambar were without garlic which was what we were looking for. Thank you! Food was certainly very tasty. But we were disappointed that they didn't have curd and offered watery buttermilk instead. Compared to the new generation restaurants nearby, this lacks in ambience. But to anyone looking for garlic free food, we would readily recommend Rama's Cafe.
One of the oldest Hotel in Kanchipuram. I had Kovil Idli here. It is ultimate. And other food quality also good. Walkable distance from Bustand, Kamatchi Amman temple.
3Star only becoz of tastes felt ok only. Old cafe but taste not to the mark. Once they done well but now improvement needed for taste and quality.. Yup anyway normal filter coffee will go once..
A chip off the old block...Rama's cafe is worth a visit..the place is dimly lit and not sparkling clean but the food is tasty and pocket friendly..surely worth trying
Very noisy and poor ambience and environment. Accepts only cash. We ordered Rava dosa, but then decided to parcel it, considering the environment. Rava dosa was full of chillies and pepper and sambar was watery.
We tried to go there several times but this time we made it and car parking also nearby. One of the oldest and traditional restaurant which is maintaining the old style. We liked the Poori but the coffee is ordinary.
Heard that it's very old and tasty hotel. But not good taste . Only 1 toilet and not hygienic and clean. Took breakfast we got out of mood. Only by name they are cheating . I will not recommend to anyone of this hotel.

Very pleasantly surprised. Great atmosphere, very friendly service, great variety of delicious food. Ample car parking area. Lots of open space and soothing fresh air as you enter the facility. Well maintained and easily accessible washrooms.
My favorite spot at kanchipuram for morning Tiffin! Crispy Rava dosa and set dosa with vada curry are my favorites! They have two branches, one near to bus stand and other one little far.Must try is "more kulambhu vadai".
It's very clean and good restaurant to enjoy southern indian food. All food and beverages are great. There are many sweets to enjoy with a cup of tea also. High recommended for foreigns
Old style nice place to have coffee and snacks. Price is reasonable. We had coffee and bonda and both were great. They accept only cash....would be good if they accept UPI also.
Warm welcome by their staff. Delicious breakfast like Pongal, Dosa, Vada along with sambar. Average cost of breakfast is around 60 to 70 rupees only. Just few yards from main temple. Very nice place.
