Nellore - Train station in Nellore - Spsr Nellore, India

It's a South Indian railway station. Nice place. Fooding and lodging facilities are available in nearby areas.

The railway station has been maintained neatly in recent days, you will be having waiting hall with AC, seperate waiting hall for ladies, for the travellers there are somany benches and seating platforms are provided. Each platform is provided with digital display of coach position. My overall experience here was good.

Now the roads in the Nellore city are getting face lift in anticipation of rainy season. To certain extent roads are good compared with previous years. Municipal Corporation taking all precautions to ensure comfortable lifestyle for the citizens of Nellore by cleaning garbage ,drains filling the small small pits in the roads, cutting trees branches etc

Really so upset to day on date 2-10-2023 we are traveling from neelor to chennai central railway station with our family members aprox 18 person are travelling I will ask for wheelchair for my grandma she was suffering from hi wesing problem she can't able to walk for 3 to 4 stups I will ask in ticket counter for the past half an hour but no response from that ticket counter lady she don't out needs at the present situation we take my grandma in slop walking stup to reach out platform no 3 it's so painful day for aus kindly take some care for needy people's

It is our railway station, previously not good, now drastically changed ex-ordinary felicities like escalator, lift and resting rooms. A very important railway station, many trains halts here. We see a peculiar under walk way from entrance to 2nd and 3rd platforms in this Railway Station.

Has escalators and Lifts to most of Platforms. General waiting hall & Ladies waiting Hall available on Platform 1. Sadly AC waiting hall not available. Back side entrance (Platform 4) is closer to main road, than front entrance which is towards platform 1. Easy way to exit from platform 3 is to wait till train leaves the station and to walk towards front end of railway station (towards Chennai direction) and to cross the railway tracks.

This railway station has 4 platforms. Escalators and Elevators are available for getting on to the over bridge to reach your required platform. Big but not very crowded station. Cleanliness needs improvement. Many hotels are available nearby. Bus station is less than half a kilometer away from here.

Nellore railway station Neat and Clean and it has good facilities like the elevator, Lift which is good for senior citizen, drag and drops ways which are good for people who have language. The platform has sufficient chair for people. One problem I found there that is the parking issue otherwise everything is good.
