Nehru Place Social - Restaurant in New Delhi - South East, India

Great ambiance and food, right in the heart of South delhi. We ordered the Bombay bachelor sandwich, honey chilli potatoes, spring rolls, and topped it off with some coffee and masala chai. My friends and I were seated in this replica of a Ferris wheel cabin. Social has always had this rustic and old school vibe to it, which makes it one of the go to places for my friends and I, for some casual chit-chat over food and drinks. The crowd is young and vibrant, the staff is courteous with quick service, the portion sizes are large, and the prices are reasonable. A really "happy vibes" place and a must check out for those who haven't been yet.

Great Ambiance with all the Delhi vibe. We went for brunch and ordered a Mumbai Bachelor Sandwich and Punjabi Breakfast. Both dishes were scrumptious. I'm definitely going there again to explore both in terms of vibe and obviously food and drinks for sure.

Place is quite good, full of media things, that was quite fascinating. You should try this place atleast once. Totally different ambience to dine in. Food was also fine and is served very creatively.

It's a great place with great and unique interiors. Unique styles of seating like Swinging seat, chairs hanging and and random ad posters on the entry pathway to give it a local look.

So for friendship day some very close friends were at our place in the evening so along with our drinks decided to get some food delivered aswell. Have been to Nehru Place Social and other social properties a few times and the food has always been great. And when they sent me a special offer message for Friendship Day I had decided to order from them ! The discount for Friendship day offer was 30% off on orders above the value of Rs1000 when ordered directly. I just ordered 2 items - 1) Killer Kebab Platter - Absolutely smashing platter especially for the price. 3 pieces of each type of kebab is served in this so that one can sample a variety and the quantity was also very abundant. Kebabs in the platter were - Old School Chicken Tikka , Jose's Jalapeno Chicken Tikka , Mutton Seekh Kebab and Egg Tikka . All of the kebabs were cooked perfectly and were delicious. The Mutton Seekh and Egg Tikka were my personal top picks as the seekh was supremely tasty due to the masala while the Egg Tikka was also fabulous. The egg tikka was definitely unique and the filling was also top notch. Both the chicken Kebabs were delicious and juicy aswell no doubt but the standouts were the seekh and egg tikka. The packaging of this was also wonderful , in a microwaveable plate with different segments and covered by a see through plastic which was very tightly sealed. 2) Shawarma Yo Mamma Platter - Shawarma Yo Mamma Platter was also amazing and really well packaged. The platter comes with Roasted Chicken in a Mediterranean style , Hummus , Garlic Sauce , Some veggies , Salad , Fries and Pita Bread. The dish was absolutely tasty especially when you make pita pockets aka a type of shawarma. When you load it with the Hummus , Garlic Sauce , Salad , Chicken and Fries (exactly in that order) and then maybe dip a bit more of garlic sauce and then it's a divine bite. Absolutely smashing platter and amazing taste. But I do have a complaint, so atleast in the restaurant stock pictures and in person dining the portion of Hummus and Garlic Sauce is much more than what they delivered . That was really really disappointing, it was sent in literally the smallest container. The amount in pictures is atleast 10x more while my suggestion is during delivery they should atleast send 5x the Hummus amount and 3x the Garlic Sauce. So that was really disappointing. The taste of the shawarma with the chicken , fries , hummus , salad and garlic sauce tasted extremely good but the portion of the Hummus and Garlic Sauce was disappointing. Chicken was good amount and so were the fries. Sadly I don't have pictures of the Shawarma Platter and very bad pictures of the Kebab Platter. This order took 40 minutes to deliver and was definitely freshly cooked. The total cost of this after the 30% discount was Rs922 and it was definitely worth it. Hopefully they will deliver more amounts of hummus and garlic sauce when I order next time.

Outstanding food, funky decor including swinging Ferris wheel pods that you can eat inside. Nice service, reasonable prices relative to other comparable spots nearby. The Chinese lunch thali portion was huge! Lots of variety on the menu. Would definitely visit again.
