Nice island in the Dal Lake to soak in the views. Used to be a very charming place during the old times but still retains some of its old grace. You can visit this when you are enjoying a shikara ride in the Dal Lake.

This is a small park situated in the Dal lake. This might be your first stop while you go for shikara ride in the Dal lake. There is a nominal entry fee. You will find many water sports activities from here. Make sure to check the license before choosing shikara. When we reached in this park, we came to know that our shikara didnot have license and the shikara owner needed to pay the penalty. This might be forced to pay by riders if shikara owner is not upto mark.

The first best place to see the the world famous Dal lake. The whole area there is known as Nehru Park Junction where you can find everything you need and wish. The place is main spot of Water sports. You need to reach there by Shikara which can be the first experience. This place is at Ghat no 15.
