Scenic and amazing water fall located in periyar tiger reserve in gavi Best water falls in my entire life
It's a fabulous place for nature lovers and the wild life experience is awesome. We visited in October. The paddle boat ride will take you to the falls. You will listen to pleasant birds and different animals but nothing else.
Very pristine waterfalls. At a time there wouldn't be more than 10 people as we have take a paddle boat to reach the spot. Have not tasted such fresh and natural waters in the last decade or so. The conservation efforts are really awesome and needs much appreciation. Go prepared to get fully drenched.
Best waterfall ever. You can stand very close to the falls. To get to the waterfall you have to go in a row boat. When we visited it was off season and there were 11 of us (4 of us were children) We travelled in 2 boats. 4 in one boat and 7 in the other. We had life jackets (even for little kids). It took about 10-15 minutes to get there.
Amazing Experience.. excellent waterfall.. the best one inside the forest.
It is inside the Gavi forest resort. For coming to this place one has to do prior booking and it is a part of a package tour which includes aming other things activities like forest trucking, visit to cardomon plantations boating, breakfast &lunch. A tour guide will be at your disposal. The place is some 25kms inside the forest.
This tiny hidden waterfall which can be accessed by boat is a real gem. The best time to visit the falls will be soon after the monsoon. I visited in September and the surrounding jungle was lush green with plenty of water in the falls. Be a little cautious with the slippery rocks close to the falls, and the place is not spoilt yet by tourists and wish it remains litter free forever.
This is a phenomenal place which captures your soul and leave you awestruck how beautiful nature is... God has created Kerala with very intricate details. Best time to visit this fall will be in monsoon because the water level will be much higher than other seasons. Climate is very pleasant here and you dont have to worry about transportation because it's totally government controlled and the whole experience is curated carefully which makes whole journey enjoyable and exciting.
The stunning panoramic view of the holy Sabarimala temple if you hike for 15mins is a visual treat. The place is serene and you can breath the fresh air. This hike is a must while you're in Gavi. Entry is restricted and prior booking with KFDC is req
Gavi is an eco tourism spot undertaken by Kfdc department. Recently kdfc has promoting Gavi via social media. I traveled and came here by Ksrtc bus from Kumuli. You can spend a whole day to spend here with natural sceneries and surrounding village pe
