One of the nostalgic landmark in my city Kolkata. I don't know how many times I been there. Lots of show and lots of memories. Used to be an open theatre with plastic chairs. Now converted into a AC theatre with comfortable sitting arengement. A big time of my school and college days I used to go there on regular intervals. Now a, days too, I use to visit when there are good shows happening.

The mancha is good. However, I couldn't enjoy the whole program as had to leave early for home as instructed by the trip organisers.

For the rest of the year, the venue hosts various local and international events including dance and musical soirees, college functions as well as conferences and auditions. The large auditorium has a semi-circular stage and a seating capacity of approximately 3000. Regular performances by Bengali rock bands and other Indian groups make this a much-visited destination and especially popular among the youth of the city. However, the appearance of the space is not what you would expect of an auditorium of this standard to be and is in desperate need of renovation and modernization. It can be easily reached by buses and cabs.

This is the best auditorium visited so far. This place is huge and the view stag is also good. The sitting capacity is good enough More than 500 people can accomodate at the same time. The hall is completely chilled ac. But the bus, auto facility is not that good. However you can opt for private vehicles or ola and uber.
