Remains of a temple dating c1100 AD are found here. The place is in a natural setting with a stream flowing. Good way to spend an outing. There is a pugdundee to the right hill that is worth exploring for a hike. Entry fee Rupees 5 or free if you are visiting as a devotee for prayers. There is a museum too for those interested.
Due to COVID -19 the Nazirakhat Archaeological Park was temporarily closed. However, on reaching the place we found it quiet & peaceful. i could only click a few pictures from outside & the Park seemed inviting with its greenery, large trees, fresh air & peaceful. We wish to visit again when everything will be restored to normalcy.
As this place have its natural bueaty and an archeological site, this could keep in a proper and maintain manner to attract more more people, students and tourist. Too far from City side hence less known for the tourist but commonly known among locals as a picnic spot.
A decent park with an inbuilt archaeological museum & a natural stream. Good place to hangout near Sonapur.
It's a beautiful place covered with lush greenery and a stream. Just needs a bit of maintenance.
Nothing much to see, neither any facilities are there. A costly entrance with guide-less visit only can be done during the picnic time. Also there's nothing to explore.
A place where you would enjoy the mixture of gentle sound of falling water and a mind-blowing setting of nature.
best place for couples.. park is very beautiful.. N temple is inside this prk..
