Nazareth Hospital - General hospital in Shillong - East Khasi Hills, India

The hospital and the facilities are good but the staffs are really uncooperative. Especially when it comes to the patient they show no kind of sympathy or care they only care about their duty . Until and unless they are not reminded 10 times they won't take action. So guys if y'all want your love one's to be healthy and come back home soon the best hospital I can recommend is Bethany hospital or roberth and civil hospital

I recently had an unfortunate encounter and I must say that I am deeply disappointed with both the management and security guards. My visit left me feeling frustrated and disheartened, and I feel compelled to share my experience with others. The place is nice and clean with proper facilities and qualified and experienced doctors but the management sucks. They have a certain system similar to army camps and the guards are not cooperative and not understanding at all and far from being professional. They only care about their "duty" but not the patient's loved ones and are quite arrogant, rude and inconsiderate.This hospital doesn't understand the feelings of the patient and his/her love ones. I wouldn't recommend anybody going to this hospital because you'll be left frustrated and disappointed with the management. This hospital should be renamed as Nazareth Bank because they're way too strict for matters that aren't even serious. If you care about your love ones don't admit them in this hospital. The security guards have no humanity in them. They do not even live up to their motto "To Love, To serve and To heal". The only thing they do is heal but there's no love.

Nurses are very rude...... They don't have the respect to patient... Mannersless..... Try to show them how to communicate with patients... I am a nurse but we in hospital we never disrespect the patient..... And the ayah as well... No manners... Towards patient.... If u continue to keep that kind of staff then your hospital will be down......that kind of character shouldn't allow to work in human hospital

It's really very disappointing after calling for so many times repeatedly, all the phone no. That has been provided in the link no one answer the call and that too when someone is very critical, needed to confirm and know regarding icu bed, so what's the use for providing emergency contact

For those people who give bad comments if you feel that it's not a good Hospital, Please don't go there anymore and go for treatment to other hospitals.... Everybody is talking about the late bills and all if you are using Health cards eg MHIS CARDS then it will be late... You want help then you wait don't complaint and grumble.... In Nazareth the MHIS cards amount is more comparing to other hospital.... My nephew is admitted there I don't need to pay a single penny... I know I reached home late but it's worth it..... For me it's the Good hospital comparing to other

They should give prescription on hand , and atleast when a person doesn't want to take all the medicine now, let them take few later let them take more. They may have money problems or something. Just becoz their is no prescription the patients are bound to take all medicines.. Without any knowledge. Change the rule PLEASE

Doctors are good here.... But there's a security guard here in the ICU of Emergency and Trauma Unit, 1st Floor. She goes by the name P. Wahlang She doesn't knows the ethics and the way you talk to someone. She also claimed that she knows "better than the doctors" here. I was just going to see my dad in ICU that too during the visiting hours and she directly came inside the ICU and started arguing with me saying "Why didn't I take her permission" she could say this outside as well but she rather chose to create a scene inside and she was very rude.... This kind of behavior cannot be accepted and I don't know why do the hospitals hire someone for a job who is so unprofessional.

They are not fast in emergency unit. We have to wait till things get Registered. Then wait in a queue for the meds. I don't see emergency service here. This should be improved for real. Patients just don't come to private hospital to get govt hospital service. Things should be fast so you save life. As we are paying for time here.
