Food quality is awesome. An ideal restaurant for vegetarian. I along with my son enjoyed food at the restaurant at Calangute, Goa. My sons are vegetarian and so I was looking for a vegetarian restaurant. Navatara is a good restaurant for enjoying vegetarian food items. Good ambiance. A bit shortage of place. But is OK. Service is good.

Nice place to have north indian or south indian food. Item we loved most:- 1. Paneer tikka masala 2. Juices Item we found average:- 1. Special pav bhaji 2. Mysore masala dosa 3. Kaju masala Items we found not great:- 1. Biryani Tip- pls pay via zomato to get some handy discount

Our Driver, a great guide too, brought us to this place when we wanted to have veg lunch when we were roaming the Calangute beach. Good option and good choice. Plenty of sitting can house big group and good veg options. First floor dining hall is air conditioned but we found the hall at ground level crowded. Medium prices, but don't seek great service. Food is okay and again don't expect extraordinary stuff.

Very good options for veg food in and around Baga beach area. The service was very quick and they were very friendly. Everything is very clean and the atmosphere is great! I tried the masala dosa and pav bhaji, both were very delicious and a hearty serving. I will be visiting again and definitely recommended for veg lovers if you're around the area.

I recently visited Navtara Restaurant with high expectations, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The service in the air-conditioned dining hall was incredibly slow, leading to chaos and customer frustration. With only one manager to handle twelve tables, it was evident that they were understaffed for the busy evening. Moreover, all tables were occupied, adding to the overall discomfort. To make matters worse, the food failed to meet my expectations. The Manchow soup was overly spicy and thick, lacking the desired balance of flavors. The Masala Papad had a scarce amount of dressing, which left it feeling bland and unappetizing. The Aloo Paratha, prepared in a tandoor, lacked the expected flavors and was served with only a small bowl of curd, leaving the dish feeling incomplete. Moving on to the main course, we ordered Cheese Naan with Veg Kolhapuri. While the cheese naan was enjoyable, the Veg Kolhapuri could have been prepared better. The flavors were not well-balanced, and the dish fell short of its potential. To conclude the meal, we decided to order Mango with Ice Cream for dessert. To my surprise, they informed us that they had run out of ice cream flavors, despite it being peak summer time. This lack of preparation and unavailability of our desired dessert left us astonished. We had to settle for Mango Shrikhand, which was the only saving grace of the entire meal, as it tasted delicious and lived up to its reputation. In summary, my experience at Navtara Restaurant was marred by slow service, chaos due to understaffing, and subpar food. The lack of attention to detail and unavailability of basic dessert options added to the disappointment. If the restaurant can address these issues and improve their overall service and food quality, it could potentially provide a better dining experience for customers in the future.
