What a fantastic experience here! The ceremony was the highlight next to the beautiful yoga school and the lovely people. The rooms are very comfortable. The hygiene is in any case higher than in other places in india where I've been. I loved the atmosphere and every teacher was in their own way very special and amazing. Shibin was so helpful and a great teacher. I had a lot of fun and amazing insights for myself. Thank you so much to everyone for this great time! see you soon!

wonderful, small authentic place to dive deeper into yoga!! Great local food cooked with love by the mum!! In my case it was a really intimate atmosphere as we were three people doing the TTC together which was absolutely amazing for the learning experience!!! Overall, it was an amazing and exhausting journey and just the first step into the power of yoga! The teachers are great and all of the people involved listen to your needs! I especially enjoyed the daily ashtanga classes with Vijith - such a great teacher with good energy!! Can only recommend this place and will definitely come back soon for my 300 hr TTC! Beautiful experience in Navadurga School of yoga. The 200h yoga teacher training course it's been great. The group of students it's small which it was a highlight. The teachers are super experienced, with lots of knowledge to share. The space is amazing, with beautiful views and the rooms well equipped. Delicious food, fresh, local and super tasty. Beautiful environment and beautiful people that we'll definitely take care of you!

I completed my 200 hour ttc at Navadurga and it was a beautiful experience. The school is located in a perfect location near the beach, the temple and various cafes. The studio on the roof overlooks the trees creating a serene and peaceful atmosphere. Its the perfect place to experience, yoga, nature and Varkala's community. The teachers are knowledgable and care about your practice. The small class size allows for individual help and careful attention. Shibin is an attentive teacher who really wants the best for his students. Having never done ashtanga i was nervous and although i found it challenging i ended up loving it! The course also allowed me to learn about yoga nidra, yin and pranayama creating a well-rounded experience. The food is lovingly made my Shibin's mum and is delicious. We were all very excited when she made us dosas and poori! There is a lovely, relaxed and homely atmosphere. The people on my course were great and we had a lot of fun. The connections we made are going to carry on beyond the school :) I learnt a lot about myself and my practice and created memories i will not forget. Varkala became a beautiful home away from home. I am already thinking about my next trip or even doing my 300 hours. If you are thinking about training at Navadurga you definitely should:)

Incredible experience to dive into the Yoga, Indian culture and unique spiritual atmosphere of ancient Varkala. Highly recommend to start your way as a yoga teacher. Still miss my Indian Home, tasty food of Indian Mother and beautiful nature with the sound of ocean during your sleep at night Very professional teachers and deep attitude to everything what they are doing. I was really lucky to find this place and such people!

I stayed at Navadurga Yoga School for a couple of weeks in November 2022. I felt most welcome by the team and family in this nature surrounded place with best home-made food. My goal was to get back to a daily Yoga & Pranayama routine and to deepen my practice. With the support of Shibin, yoga teacher and founder of the school, I achieved a wonderful pranayama technique and felt the big benefit of a daily discipline. Beside that, I had Ayurvedic treatments for two weeks and I'm happy with the cure and the result. All together I had a great time in Varkala and would like to thank the Navadurga team. I can highly recommend this place if you want to join a Yoga TTC or just visit the drop in classes. Shibin and his team passionately share their knowledge and make the stay an experience to grow! I am so lucky and grateful to have been able to complete my 200h YTTC at Navadurga school of yoga. I attended the course this past August month and I am very happy to have made the decision. First of all, shibin is a very wise, patient and detailed teacher and I learned so much from him, about yoga asana and about life. He is always smiling and his positive energy is wonderful. The type of yoga he teaches is Hatha and astnga which is the authentic traditional yoga that was born in India. We were also taught pranayama and meditation, and we also had theory clases about Ayurveda medicine, anatomy and yoga philosophy, all very interesting and necessary to fully understand yoga. All the teachers were real experts in their fields and extremely kind and friendly. Shibin also took us in trips to visit neighborhood temples, and nearby beaches and an island. It was my first time in India so I really enjoyed exploring around and immersing into the Indian culture and was amazed by everything I saw. The school is a beautiful colur full building full of flowers and friendly animals, like monkeys, peacocks, dogs and cats :) the yoga Shala is the lovely bamboo rooftop full of light and where you can practice listening to the music from the temples nearby. Varkala is a very turistic beachtown, buzzing with life on the weekend and quiet and peaceful during the week. The school is right by the famous cliffs, which are full of restaurants, bars and shops. The weather in August was amazing, it was raining some days, real tropical storms and other days the sun was shining intensely. Nature is simply breathtaking, the cliffs, the beaches, the palmtree forests, the backwaters... We were not able to swim in the ocean because it was quite rough but we could refresh ourselves in the backwaters or the nearby hotels pool. All in all I highly recommend Navadurga school of Yoga for your YTTC. The contents of the course are very complete and the teachers are understanding and teach with so much love. This, for sure, has been one the most memorable months in my life and for that I warmly thank Shibin and team, who organised everything so well and made it possible :)

I had the opportunity to meet the teacher in Kerala and follow him in his online classes. In addition to having great expertise in Yoga, he is also a beautiful spiritual guide. Online lessons are always intense, a moment of true detachment where you can know your limits and go beyond. If you like intense Yoga you will not be disappointed :)
