There used to be a time when Navbharat was a brand when it came to baked food. I was expecting the quality to have improved or at least stayed the same. Unfortunately, it sucks. Forget about cake and other things, even bread sucks. I bought a bread loaf and it had rusted iron pieces in it. I chose to think its probably a one time mistake. Then I bought buns and there was hair in it and tiny tiny pieces of stick, god knows what the hell was that. Never thought that I will be writing this review for Navbharat, the place I loved as a kid.

One of the oldest bakeries of Jhansi. It was a while back when we wanted to order a cake for a birthday and Navbharat was the default choice given it's legacy. We ended up ordering a custom made cake suited for the occasion. Pros - The staff was helpful with selection. They were able to make a pretty good cake given the vague description. Cons - The taste, it was just not good and seemed like they had used a lot of soda. But, given navbharat's standing, it may be a one time incident and I am willing to give this a benefit of doubt. Hope they tighten their quality controls a bit and the experience is better next time.

Ordered this on a busy day after work, thought it will make me feel relaxed, but once opened this is wat I got, the bun was dry, hard, the stuffing was smelly n had a weird taste. Please improve your quality, selling old stuffs at a higher price is dropping the ratings of your shop.

One of the more horrible places in Jhansi for food and hospitality. I ordered food from swiggy which got delayed by 40 mins because the staff did not care to prepare the food on time. Then when prepared it, it was in-edible. The food was extremely spicy and nothing could be done at 11:15 PM in the night. to make it right When I called the restaurant they did not care.

One more eatery and bakery shop from my childhood pitara. Going here since I was 4 years old. There cakes, pastries, buns and bread (ahhh so freshly baked) were and are still the usp of the shop. Mostly we used to stop Pappa to buy choclates and patties whenever we used to go to sadar bazar. If someone asks us which bakery then we only knew Nav Bharat bakery stores, thats it. Currently there are lot more options other than only bakery.

The food quality has gone so bad in nav bharat. Choco lava cake doesn't have melted chocolate (lava). Chicken Kathi roll tasted like someone has put the packet of haldi in it. Well the staff was really rude. I told them I forgot my phone in the car please start packing the order I will just take a minute but the staff didn't agree.
