Nature Camp Thapli Morni Hills Panchkula - Featured Reviews (415)
The place is closed since COVID 19 lock down. There is no notification anywhere about it online. You find it closed only when you arrive there.
There has to be some notice. So please check before go there.
After Covid d place is restricted to visitors, I think Government officials shirk from their duty nd proving their disloyalty to nature nd to their duty also. What's d use of such places if visitors r not allowed.
The camp is like a sanctuary for plants and animals where they are protected by the wildlife department. Kudos to the conservator and haryana govt. For their untiring efforts.
This place is like garden in your backyard. About 45 min drive from Zirakpur, you can enjoy the tea here. I haven't checked the cottages here but they all are surrounded by too much Greenery. It will definitely be an awesome experience staying here. Wonderful place to visit when weather is nice.
Beautiful place in the lap of Morni hills, run by Haryana government. It has a plant nursery, a restaurant, conference hall, cottages and a small park. Very near to Chandigarh and a must visit in rainy season as lush green will sooth your eyes. Don't expect much from restaurant as they have limited food options and cook only after your order, but the food is like home cooked and is good.
I love this place too much. When I am in 9tj standard then I have visited this place with my taechers and friends. They welcomed us. Then we visited there and sees the different types of plants. They made the manure for soil from a complete waste like leaf, vegetables peels etc. They organize quiz or poster making competition. We also watch a short film on valture.
As per latest information this place is closed permanently...Very nice place...very well maintained. So much greenery.....But bit hot in summer months...Best to visit in Monsoons and winter ...Though canteen is available and food is prepared fresh but Order takes time...and all items as per menu are not available..so I advise you carry your own eatables if possible...Overall Awesome place in monsoon and winter months..
I visit here with my wife first time, they charge 10 rs. each for adult entry. You can get knowledge of different plants with their benefits. Here one restaurant is also there on the top side but in that nobody will welcome you, no cleanliness, no staff. Me and my wife want to have a cup of tea here but despite of having tea no person will come to us to ask for even a glass of water.
I didn't suggest any couple to come here. Very Bad Experience.
