Biodiversity -- short for biological diversity -- is the variety of all living things and their interactions. Biodiversity changes over time as extinction occurs and new species evolve. Scientists often speak of three levels of diversity: species, genetic, and ecosystem diversity. In fact, these levels cannot be separated. Each is important, interacting with and influencing others. Changes at one level can cause changes at other levels. Biodiversity is all the different kinds of life you'll find in one area--the variety of animals, plants, fungi, and even microorganisms like bacteria that make up our natural world. Each of these species and organisms work together in ecosystems, like an intricate web, to maintain balance and support life. Biodiversity is essential for the processes that support all life on Earth, including humans. Without a wide range of animals, plants and microorganisms, we cannot have the healthy ecosystems that we rely on to provide us with the air we breathe and the food we eat. And people also value nature of itself.
The Place is Very useful for Botany Students. They have approx 400+ plants. We have visited with Science Students for their excursion tour. The incharge of Garden Mr. Harshad Lange & their team have good information and they explain very well.
Place is awesome. Specially for photography lovers. You can plan pre-wedding shoot, Baby shoot like photography here. Entry is free, but beware, there is a guide who will give you information but will ask for 500Rs at the end. So if you are ready to pay 500, then only take the guide. I don't think guide have any good information. But few people liked inform from guide. Plants name are already written there and guide was just speaking rott learned information.(guide of Vishnubaug From Badlapur had better botanical information)
Very nice place. If you like to see different varieties of plants and trees this one will amaze you. Nicely maintained with different areas to explore and learn.
Excellent, amazing place full of such a huge flora. Climate is too good with blowing air. U can get any information about plants and their species . It is not a huge place but in a small place it has a huge range of biodiversity. They allow students for stay and only for study or research purposes. Their staff was really too good. They told us about nearly some of species which can be used in daily life. So finally I would like to thanks the managing director and staff of Native Biodiversity for your lovely service. Thank you.
