Very good sight for watching Ghariyal, Crocodile, few specific birds like Indian Skimmer, Surkhab (Ruddy Shelduck), Eurasian Spoonbill...
It is one of the hidden gems of India and does not attract many tourists, but the natural beauty of the place is worth a visit. You can do a lot of bird spotting, go on a river safari to spot ghariyals/ dolphins or taken a camel ride to the grand Ater fort nearby. Great option for a rustic experience. Only issue is cleanliness in public places.
Really a nice place, with lots to see in the chambal, though map shops mela kothi as the safari but it is just an expensive lodge. In reality it's 17 km ahead of it with last few kms in the beehad(ravines). To get best view of crocs and gharials you should come before noon.

Besides, an interesting phenomenon of breeding of Bufonids was observed, which showed that B. stomaticus & B.melanostictus breeds during July-August on the northern slope of Siwalik ,whereas the same species breeds up to November on the southern slope.
