It's an unexplored places. Not known for everyone. Surrounding scenery is amazing. Need to talk a walk for 10-15min to reach this place, because it's a small road. Parking is free. Highly recommended. Boating is available near this bridge.
The place has the beauty that can't be expressed in words but so is the difficulty in reaching the bridge. It's quite inside the village and path is too narrow and can't even take reverse. You can see tall coconut trees bending over the stream , hear birds chirping and a very Serene place which stays in your memory for eternity. Park your vehicle in the village and go by walk. Do avoid this place if there is aged one or little one with you in this journey. The view will be breathtaking.
Best experience in the entire life, we can only find this place in Google maps ( not available in iPhone).. Walk through in the middle of the village.. We need to request the villagers for boat ride and they are very helping in nature.. They even give us a fresh coconut from the tree.. Half of the journey in water can feel like Kerala and another half is so muddy.. We can step down into the water from the boat..
The nathageri bridge is located quite inside the village its very difficult to locate that bridge. Its just a small bridge constructed to pass from one place to another only approx 50-70 metres. The bike cannot pass through that bridge as it has steps for climbing the bridge. The view is beautiful no crowd you may be the only person visiting the bridge . The place is really very peaceful, you get to experience the nature completely. The Greenery and the water around you would surely make you feel happy. Best place for photo shoots.
Lots of coconut trees, calm water, variety of birds and their chirping You just bring yourself in smaller boat (dingy) and enjoy everything... I love this place.
Not a tourist attraction, but that's the advantage. You can get a peaceful view.
We detoured 25 kms to reach the place. Had lot of expectations about the place from the reviews. To be honest, I was disappointed. The location has its own beauty. The bridge is located amidst a village. You have to walk through the village to get to the bridge. Apart from the Hanging bridge where we could click few pictures for its beauty, there is nothing else to explore. I could suggest lot other beautiful places to spend time peacefully and click amazing photographs rather than spending time to reach this place to have few pics.
