Nataraj Tourism Property (earlier Tarakeswar Tourist Lodge) - Lodge in Tarkeshwar - Hooghly, India

Excellent location. Just opposite to Hanuman ghat of Dudh Pukur. It's just 100 mtr from "Rajbari more". If you go via car, come via Chaulpatty more route, otherwise Google map will show the road via congested bazar road. The campus is very big, full of trees. They also cultivate vegitables and use that in daily cooking to serve to customer. There are four cottages and main buildings are also having standard double beded rooms. At reception you will get carrom board. The quality and teste of food is also very good. The manager is also very humble and cooperative. Service is also upto the mark. If you want to stay two days just at the lap of nature from crowded city, it's ideal. And finally moreover, it's just 200 mtr walkable distance to Baba Tarakeswar mandir. You can visit to temple number of times as you can.

Very good property but extremely poor service and very unprofessional behaviour speciall manager Mr. Manoj Hazra. He is a very unprofessional person and rude to the guests.

The location is awesome as usual. (As a matter of fact the locations of government properties in tourist spots are the best everywhere in my humble opinion) Staff behavior is excellent. They were really cordial and looked after the guests in all possible ways. The food was sumptuous. The dining hall appeared to be a tad smaller in dimension and won't be able to accommodate all the guests together in peak season I guess. Another point we would like to mention that the toilet cum bathroom is too small and we didn't like it at all (the space and the planning both). Having said that the attitude and behavior of the staff will make you forget that shortcoming Highly recommended!

Hotel is 5 to 10 minutes walking from railway station. Hotel is neat and clean. Service is very good. Food is prepared by them as per your choice. Quality is good.

Very well maintained, the manager and staffs are very polite , courteous and helpful. The food and room both r good.. the dining is beautiful with nice view.the temple can be accessed just opposite the main gate of the hotel. Overall the stay was good and pleasant especially kudos to the nice behaviour. Will recommend my friends and family

This property has been renovated recently. Went there on 2nd Oct (during Durgapuja) for lunch. We were 17 all together and ordered the food just an hour back. Awesome food, awesome hospitality. Fine dining experience at it's best. The Manager of the property also took us to the rooms and cottages. Property is spacious with a garden and good parking facility. One can try indoor games like carrom as well. Added advantage is Tarakeswar temple is very nearby and visible from this property. Shall surely come back for a stay over there. Also recommend others.

This is just 3rd class hotel . They misbehave with guests . Foods are 3 Rd class. Please beware of this property.

I checked in Dec 9th 2022 with my parents and stayed there 3 nights. And it felt like we are visiting a very close relative. Every hotel provides u with food and accommodation. But Nataraj tourism made us feel like a family. The restaurant food felt like "made by mom". The cook and help will ask u ten times if u need anything just like moms do. Every staff is there with an astonishing readiness to help u out. The manager's behaviour made me feel like I am actually visiting my uncle's home. Who wouldn't want to come back again? who wouldn't want a "mamar barir ador" one more time. West Bengal tourism - hats off!!
