Narrow Gauge Rail Museum is biggest museum in Nainpur. The museum area is spread over and area about 10.52 acres (4.26 Hectare). Running train Satpura express with one Diesel loco and 2 coaches having facility to accommodate 20 persons in each coach in cushioned push back chair. A ZE class steam locomotive near the entrance attracts the attention of the visitors. This locomotive was based primarily at Nainpur steam loco shed and used mostly in passenger train services in howbagh- nainpur Gondia-nainpur Chhindwara- mandla section. The nainpur station and Railway settlement scale model is kept in the centre of ground floor of new building.

Rail museum is awesome your kids will love this place. Lots of Narrow gauge engine and boogies. The front esteem engine is the thing I liked the most. Nice and clean place. Entry ticket is just 10rs per person and for more 10rs they offer a train ride also in the old narrow gauge train. It's Asia's largest or you can say biggest narrow gauge rail museum .
