I recently had the pleasure of visiting Narmada Park in Ashoka Garden, Bhopal, and it was an absolute delight. This park has truly become one of my favorite spots in the city, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful and enjoyable outdoor experience.
First and foremost, the park's location is fantastic. Situated in the heart of Ashoka Garden, it offers a serene oasis away from the bustling city streets. As soon as I entered the park, I was greeted by lush greenery, well-maintained lawns, and a soothing atmosphere. It's the perfect place to escape the noise and chaos of everyday life and connect with nature.
The park's main attraction is the beautiful Narmada River that flows through it. The river adds an extra element of tranquility to the park, and there are several well-designed pathways and bridges that allow visitors to enjoy its beauty up close. I took a leisurely stroll along the riverbank and found it to be incredibly calming. The sound of flowing water and the gentle breeze made for a truly rejuvenating experience.
Best park of this area. Here we can see the whole path of narmada river. It started from amarkantak MP and ends in Gujrat. Swings, slides and chairs are available here to enjoy yourself and your kids. Fountain is also present here. There are 2 entrance/exit gates in this park. When you walk around the park on the path, you feel like you are doing parikrama of narmada river so that it's name is narmada parikrama park.
Many historical things are there, like view of narmada reiver and related things. Much better to visit the place in evening. Good for families and kids.
It has been built very well, the government is paying more attention to it and it should be given because it is our national heritage, it is the responsibility of every Indian to take care of this type of heritage.
Narmada park is a good play park for little boy(Childern), but it is not good park to adult for visit.
It's good for children for playing in evening time and also good for old age people to walk around and spend some time inside park

Loved this place. Park / forest is situated at the starting of Katara hills. People come here for walk/yoga. A well managed mowed lawn is there for yoga/sitting on the grass. Two people were teaching yoga when we visited there, might be a yoga shivir
