Narmada Girls Hostel - Girl's Hostel in Jabalpur - Jabalpur, India

I have lived in this hostel, during my whole engineering. 1. Facilities are somehow good. They provide bed, bedsheet, pillow, cupboard, table, chair, and washroom equipments. 2. But the have only one geyser per floor in that too they have decided usage time. Which is too inconvenient. 3. Vibe in the room is good. 4. The food is not good at all only the breakfast is good but quantity is not sufficient plus almost everyday there food gets over and is not sufficient for everyone. 5. The owner's nature is not good she is very cunning and miser. 6. Even if you are having exam and you ask other people in floor to not make notice they won't listen and the owner also not pay attention towards this. 7. If there is any maintenance required in your room the owner never pay attention and even if she pays, she will ask you to pay extra charges for the maintenance. 8. The rent is too high respective to the place and facilities. 9. In summer they give there own cooler charge approx 850 per month plus those coolers are never ni good condition. Half of them are throwing water, others make noice and few stops working every alternative days.

The owner of the hostel is a very sweet woman and the facilities at the hostel are nice , overall everything is good there.

The staff was very friendly and were helpful and accomodating. The Manager was very helpful in booking our initial tours and transportation. He also provided us with a room upgrade which was larger than the one that we originally had. It helped that we were there in the slow season so the guest house was not crowded. Be aware that the two rooms that they have with a view of the Ganges are on the 4th floor of a walk-up (no lift). Breakfast in our booking was included and was good. Internet was acceptable......the food provided is very good and the most important thing is security which is up to grade here. Therefore its a most safe hostel for girls if u r finding in this region near lamhetaghat road..

I'd written a review previously of this place rating it 4 or 5 stars. But after a month of staying here, I'm forced to reconsider. The water is always dirty. The tap's stream is thin, the shower also stopped working swiftly. They never heed your requests. They promise you WiFi but there's no WiFi. The food is pure vegetarian and utterly bland. They don't even serve chai and biscuits in the evening. And on Sundays also, their breakfast closes before 9:25! Who gets up before 9 on Sunday? Their timings are extremely restrictive, and if you miss it, tough luck. I have to spend just 9 more days here and I'm looking forward to getting the hell out of this place. They're running a slick business, and not even providing the most basic of amenities. Also, their plumbing is a joke. Water can fall on you or leak out of anywhere. If you must stay at Jabalpur, look somewhere else. This is NOT the place for you. Also, I do not understand why have all these men reviewed this place on Google seeing that this is a girls hostel! It's misleading and completely untrustworthy.

Great place to our sisters to saty, very safe and cctv available. good food and comfortable room.

6500 per month rent. But very small room. Of course neet and clean but mess food is also not good enough
