Narayanaghatta Kere - Seasonal lake in Bommasandra, Bengaluru - Bengaluru Urban, India

Revived by army officer, this lake also called as singena agrahara lake is in a great condition at present. Spread around 100+ acres this has turned of great help to locals. We also see lake channels flowing into other lakes which is part of Koramangala challaghta valley. Had gone cycling and was amazing to see it during monsoon .

Superb serene and beautiful place. Just about 20 kms from akshay nagar south bangalore. The way is a bit confusing on google maps. Chose carefully

Narayanaghatta Kere is a rural lake in the outskirts of Bangalore. The lake doesn't look very big but is mostly covered with trees. Seems to be more of a seasonal lake. However the rural areas and farm lands around are really nice and beautiful. There are quite a bit of birds around the lake as well: Green Bee eater, Wagtails, Mynas, egrets, etc. Go for seeing the farmlands around, lake as such is not great. Note: The route Google shows to the lake are not accessible as it is within villa complexes, access the lake through the village area

Kind information to all as this is wrongly named as narayanaghatta kere. But this is singena agrahara kere which is located in singena agrahara anekal taluk and now its one of the peacefull place nearby
