If you are in Thiruvananthapuram, and have some spare time, do visit the Museum. It showcases old historical relics, figurines, statues, coins, temple chariots etc. from India as well some Art and cultural displays, masks etc. from South-East Asian Countries, like Bali and also from Japan. The museum is situated in a campus that also houses the Chitra Kala Musem- that displays Raja Ravi Verma paintings and also of Roerich, A Zoo, An Aquarium, Natural History Museum and 3D Theatre so your kids too shall enjoy the trip for sure.
Amazing experience. The zoo and museums amaze you the most. Amongst Raja Ravi Varma Paintings are the most adorable things I have seen. Worth every penny if you visit. Must visit places in trivendrum. It takes a complete whole day to finish the entire napier museum and zoo within. Overall experience is thrilled in every single stage.
One of the must watch place when you are in Trivandrum. A best place for getting meetups with friends and having a talk in the evenings. The environment frienly atmosphere is very calm even in the city centre.
Napier Museum in Trivandrum is a cultural gem. The captivating blend of art and history makes it a must-visit. The nearby zoo adds an extra layer of excitement, creating a perfect day out for families. The museum's architecture and diverse exhibits provide a delightful journey through time. A delightful experience for history enthusiasts and wildlife lovers alike.
This place is truly a hidden gem! Hard to find but when you do, it is totally worth it. This beautifully designed space. Our visit was elegantly conducted and was very educational. It was an honour to access the curated museum. We saw the factory and the skilled craftsmen at work. You could feel the vibe, the passion and the sense of aesthetics of the founder. A man of taste who you can discover through the visit. The brand is full of heritage and vision translated into the collection which they make with the most personalised experience. This is probably my favourite place in Thiruvananthapuram, just because of the amount of thinking and style that has gone into making this space and designing the experience. The Trivandrum corporation is maintaining well. Thank you thank you
Well maintained and a beautiful place. The architecture, trees, nearby zoo, give a good ambience and it's nice to sit with friends. It's actually a quiet place where people don't make unnecessary noise so it's even better to study too in this environment.
Built in 19th century ...to know the rich cultural heritage of Kerala.... museum has been named after former Madras Governor General John Napier....shows architectural beauty in the building.... exhibits historical items and idols used by ancient rulers....
It was a nice place to chill. Just sitting on the bench while watching the sunset. It tends to be crowded during the weekends. The place is clean and big. It's nice for an afternoon walk as well.
