I have visited twice in this restaurant and the food is really good here. The Mughlai Paratha and Biryani is top notch. One plate of Mughlai Paratha and that's enough for two people for the day. Service is good. The price of some dishes is a bit high according to me but you're served with quality food also. So the price is always worth it. There's no AC available and its a kind of open ambience. You'll feel the heat in summers definitely. So I deducted one for that.
Worst experience. Veg Manchurian was horrible it was more like pyaazi. Spicy chilli paneer had no taste. Soups were also not good. Children vomited after having the food. Not recommended even for the Chinese.
Had heard a lot about this place before but never got a chance to taste but luckily after concluding yesterday's Hockey World Cup 2023 inauguration ceremony visited this place. Ordered Chilly chicken half BL(160), Chicken korma half BL (200), lachha paratha (40 each). *[Total: 560 for 2 people] The taste was superb! Chilly chicken was a not what we expected (had only chicken and chopped onions but it was ok) . Service:: 4/5 Hygiene:: 3/5 Taste:: 4.5/5 Price:: 300 per 2 person . Later on was suggested to try chopsuey and soup by some local friends! Do put you valuable feedbacks
Earlier Nanking was the finest Chinese restaurant in cuttack now the restaurant has deteriorated the quality ..there is no more taste in Indian cuisine... and the time taken to make the food ordered is high... Need to improve the quality... But the waiters are good....
Good taste.. keep watch on ur bill as they may charge you the price of hull plate when you just ordered for half plate. Price is very reasonable.. taste was more better few years back.

Have been visiting this awesome Chinese restaurant since my college days and it has never failed to impress. Nanking is believed to be the oldest Chinese restaurant in Cuttack and the food they serve is fabulous. The service is excellent, staff are very cordial and to me it's one of the few Chinese restaurant in Cuttack that will give you complete value for money. Nanking special mixed fried rice and American choupsey (tell the staff to get it fully prepared by the chef) are a must try if you hop in to this place. To the food they serve comes good in both quality and quantity wise. Pricing is also very reasonable. The only downside of the restaurant is the ambiance, it's very mediocre.. nothing much to say about it. So, If you're in Cuttack and want to have some authentic Chinese food at a budget without ambiance being too much of a concern, then this oldest Chinese restaurant in the city won't disappoint. Highly recommended!
