The wall of Nandur Madhmeshwar dam. There is a brocken bridge on the dam downstream of the wall. One can walk on the bridge and cross the stream but not in the monsoon. During rains many tourist comes to see the dam wall. All gates will be opened and flow of the river is amazing to see. During summer village people come to wash the cloths, not very scenic view. There is a small dhaba near to the wall.. People enjoy fish there i the monsoon.
You can buy fresh fish from dam, area around shani mandir and dam gate is very beautiful.
Superb recreational place especially for birdwatchers. Binoculars recommended. The place has its own ecological importance as well.

Local people call this place "khangoan bandhara" basically this is big dam (dharan) which is constructed on godavari river to save water so that.visit this place in winters i am damn sure you will not regret.
Peaceful place to visit. Have visited after monsoon. You can actually go to nearby the Dam Doors. Though there's no hotel nearby this. Very few people visit this place.
