Nandon - Park in Kolkata, Chinsurah - Hooghly, India

Nice place for having a little mental peace as this place is quite silent without the afternoon's gaming session of local boys. This place is also very famous to have your own time to spent with your nearest ones i.e. your friend, girlfriend, wife or anybody of your family. Overall a very nice place to have nostalgic views of the Ganges and spending some fair and peaceful times.

This ghut is very beautiful. This is one of the highlights of Chunchura. The river Ganges can be seen near this pass.Many people come here and hang out. There are good places to take photos. There is Kali temple.

An old and historic pucca ghat on the bank of river Hooghly. Constructed British period and adjacent to Hooghly Collegiate School and in between Sandeswarlata ghat and Collegiate School. Very nice place to spent time here.

Murari Bhavan(Lt..Murari Laha's house). Duttaghat,Chuchurah is a small two storeyed house on the banks of Hooghly. The waters of Hooghly once came upto the ground floor but now the river here is fast losing volume, buyoancy & depth. Mid-river sandbanks ('Charaa') can be seen during low-tide due to rising riverbed. Water is fast recieding at the banks making the river narrower & the banks wider. The municipality has decided to use this additional land at the banks to convert it into a riverfront park for joggers and children. The house is now moving further away from the water and the park in between in getting wider. A stones throw from Sandeshwartala. Duttaghat once used to be a bathing ghat but now it's abandoned. Buffaloes from local sheds stride leisurely into Duttaghat to seek respite from the summer heat. it's beside Hooghly Mohsin College. A beautiful sunset (or sunrise) can be experienced at Duttaghat. The sun sets over opposite shore of the river.

Of course it's a great place for couples and youngsters....also old peoples go there too..but some peoples seem to be a bit disturbing to couples....afterall that's great place
