Situated 60 Kms north of Bangalore and 1478 metres above sea level, Nandi Hills, earlier known as Nandidurga, was the summer retreat of Tipu Sultan. It is a good place for delusion
A very pleasant full place to enjoy the mother nature, and that too monsoon season added some graceful experience. The Ghat road journey is a bit dangerous but beautiful. Only negative is the traffic evn at morning 5 it was housefull...don't ever try to start at 7:00am unless it is a weekday
We went on a Saturday morning.. We reached Nandi hills approx by 8:00-8:30 am .. It is recommended to go for sunrise view but going after that is also fine. 3-4 hrs is more than sufficient to explore Nandi hills.. Once you reach the base of Nandi hills you have a steep climb of 8 km then you reach the parking for Nandi hills. Parking fee is Rs60 for 4 wheeler and entry for one person is Rs20 . Then you have to walk a bit to start the exploration of view points. You can either take a KSTDC to reach the hill top. The charge is Rs25 per person. At the top you will find KSTDC Mayura pine top Food kiosk, good option to grab a bite, we had poori sagu, mendu vada and cutlet very yummy food. You also have a restaurant there. One must definitely visit Nandi hills once in Bengaluru. Very beautiful, serene and tranquil atmosphere.
It's a very popular place in Bangalore. From the top, you can see lakes, agricultural land and many rural places in Bangalore. It's better to start early if you are visiting on the weekend in a four wheeler. The queue runs almost 2-3 kms long if you are reaching at 7 A.M. By that time, you will miss sunrise from the viewpoint. Better to start at 3 A.M from the city. There are 2 government hotels on the top. It will be a very nice experience staying there.
This place is heaven ,, you must must visit, Try going as early as possible, afternoon it's very crowded and hot , do carry power bank ,water bottle and umbrella as it can rain anytime ,, and one more important things mostly network isn't available on top hope my review can help u ,, if so hit the like button

Sometimes you won't get exact sunrise due to dense clouds it depends on luck. But definitely you'll enjoy lot. Network will be lost at few places jio will be better. Per person : 20 Bike : 30 2 ppl with bike : 70 Opening time 5:15 to 5:30 They're started cottages donno about prices If u re planning to stay overnight just check with KSTDC
The secure hill fortress of Nandidurg or famously known as Nandi Hills is a getaway not too far from the bustling city of Bengaluru. Situated in the small district of chickballapur, it is isolated from the busy city. This tranquil place was once a strong base of the Ganga dynasty. Dating all the way back to the eleventh century, this place is rich in culture and heritage. The sunset and the sunrise viewpoint have attracted people far and wide. This place gets its name from the sleeping bull-like structure of the entire hill, entitling it to the celestial bull Nandi, thereby Nandi Hills.
Trekking in the calm route listening to the various new sounds of birds and insects is the best experience I had. Challenging enough to give you fulfiling experience after the end of the trek.
If you're looking for a peaceful and homely getaway in the mountains, then "Stay at Nandi" is the perfect option for you. I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and it was an experience like no other. The hotel is nestled in a serene
The villa is perfect for a group of 10-12. It has a spacious living room with a smart TV connection. Rooms are clean and well maintained. The staff was hospitable and were of good service. If anything, they were slightly understaffed to service such
I've lost count of the number of times I've visited Nandi Hills, but its allure never diminishes, except when you visit it too many times. For me, Nandi Hills is all about the captivating dawn. As the first light breaks through the mist, it creates a
Must visit places during the winter season. Best time to watch in the early morning 6:00am-8:00am. Maintained well and clean. Avoid visiting during weekends possibly. Parking charges are quite hefty. Please maintain clean and keep hygienic.
It's has a beautiful sunrise view, better to reach the top by 6 in the morning, and carry a water bottle as well it's highly required when climbing the steps as it's very tiring. But the view is worth it
I started this trek at around 8:30 AM. It's quite easy because you mostly climb stairs to get to the top. The views along the way are absolutely stunning, and the weather was perfect. There are two ways to reach the top. You can take a vehicle on on
Best view of entire Bangalore. Must be there by 6am to enjoy the sunrise. Lot of monkeys there. If you have any foreign friends they will enjoy this more than the sunrise... Just like my friend . If you want to buy some grapes just out of the farm th
