NANDI COTTAGES near Nandi Hills - Home Stay in Muddenahalli, Thirnahalli - Chikkaballapura, India

Talking about the 1st floor balcony view room. Trust me, it's not worth the money. Very poorly maintained. Seemed like the owner is too busy to check on the basic necessities of that place. 1. Plumbing issue - not even one tap works fine and leaks all night. 2. Cockroaches everywhere, especially in the kitchen. All our food was infested by tiny cockroaches. 3. No proper bed sheets and blanket. 4. The balcony space could have been utilised better by atleast putting one chair.(had a broken old wooden sofa) The view of the hills is really nice. Only if it was maintained better I would have liked to visit back.

The place was cool and the room was great with a nice ambience. The caretaker ruined the entire experience though. Water stopped and when I called the caretaker for it he shouted stating 'why are you giving tension to me'. Who am I supposed to call then ? Evening around 7, suddenly the fan and lights went off even though ac was running. Lights were there outside except for our room. Without lights at night time who would we call? The caretaker right! But the Chief Minister fellow doesn't want to be disturbed. I called him stating the problem again to hear an earful from him. This time I lost my cool and I also shouted back and then called the owner. Owner Amar was helpful and then the caretaker came and fixed the issue but kept on shouting inside the room as I called the owner. My Wife got absolutely scared during this entire fiasco. I called him for two genuine issues and instead of fixing it he just shouted completely ruining the experience. Before coming here, I even sent the place link to a couple of friends showing I've found an awesome place and we can use this for weekend getaway now and then. But not anymore. While booking, check for the caretaker's name: if it is Nagaraj - Run!

It was good, quiet and the host Amar was cooperative. The nearby cafe has very limited food options so make sure to arrange for the food before hand

One of the best place to stay for both couple and gang of friends! This property has two floors Ground and first floor. Both were good! If you want to spend some relaxing and peaceful time with your partner this is the best place to go! The most important thing is owner of this property (Amar) is too good and very much supportive! I had a memorable stay here. Will surely visit again!!

The location was in a gated community plot and away from all basic amenities. This is a typical house built in remote villa plots

Spent a night at this place. There were some issues we shared as feedback to the owner but the caretaker didn't take kindly to that and yelled at us for doing so. There was also confusion about addressing issues as the person who took the money was not the owner and did not want to take responsibility to address the issues. We also had issues with the water stopping midway through. Overall, plenty of issues with the level of service but location was great! Would've been nice to have a better kitchen and/or better food options.

It's a self check in homestay kind villa laid in a layout full of homes stays away from City near Nandi Hills. Had very short stay here

Accomodation was excellent for four people, it was just perfect..Host Amar was super helpful to help make things available in like utensils, towels, bed sheets, etc...care taker Nagraj is a super guy and made sure we were comfortable during our stay, he also arranged for bonfire...place is butiful and the feel during sunrise and sunset is just excellent. We were able to go for Skandagiri trek very easily from here...this is the best place to be in the location....thank you Amar and team....
