Nandavanam Veg Restaurant - Vegetarian restaurant in Thoraipakkam - Chennai, India

Nandhavanam is undoubtedly one of the finest veg restaurants I've come across. Their mini tiffin is a personal favorite, consistently delivering on taste and quality. The establishment boasts two floors, with the ground floor being non-AC and the first floor offering a comfortable AC setting. The ambiance on the first floor is particularly pleasing. While the customer service on the ground floor could use a little enhancement, overall, it's a delightful dining experience.

This restaurant holds a special place for my entire Chennai journey. Belonging to the northern part and having so many delicious varieties of dosa almost twice a week was something that I will always miss. The food in the pg wasn't good enough and we have always preferred this restaurant over any restaurant for not only South Indian food but also delicious north Indian cuisine. Tomorrow would be my last day in Chennai and i spoke to staff on podi, and just a nice gesture of staff and restaurant owner that they agreed to offer me podi without any cost. I do not put review for any restaurant but this will always hold a special place in my heart. Will miss Nandavanam :)

One of the good hotel at Mettukuppam, with good ambience and taste. Must try is Tanjore Veg meals and Tiffin. Other cusines are ok but need some improvement in taste.

Got to try this very pocket friendly place with proper authentic south indian food! The place is fully crowded and we have to wait for 15 minutes! We tried their dosa , south indian thali. Their sambhar is so yum! Love the total experience

Good place to eat dosa there. I've tried paneer dosa and onion dosa and both were awesome at an affordable rate. Having a table spot, a normal table and an AC hall. The ambience was decent and the food was good. Worth to try

One of the best South Indian joints in the locality. Hands down winner. Tried Bun Parotta chops, butter paneer masala dosa and their ghee karam dosa. Am at a severe loss of words to explain how good it is. Priced at Rs. 75, ghee karam dosa is Out of the world. The bun parotta was very good. The paneer inside the masala dosa had more of a paneer bhurji kinda taste - a welcome change among restaurants who overkill the paneer with a sub tomato onion gravy. Their Ghee podi dosa is a must try too. AND never miss their elanerr payasam. They also serve juices and chats (to woo the north Indian contingent around) but yes, their south Indian food is never miss this gem.

All items of food are good tasty and way of service also good. Only thing we found is in the first floor is the place for eating dinner and meals. As a senior citizen i found it difficult to climb many steps. The chutney (thuvaiyal) served was very very tasty. This item of food famous in South Tamilnadu. The Owner may be from that part of, Tamil nadu.. On the whole nice place to have meals. (I had my lunch there enjoying every item.)
