Nandanum Residency - Hotel in Kollur - Udupi, India

We entered the area and found this place first. We did not realise there were more places to stay nearer the temple. So we stayed here. It was just for a night. Not a great place but not bad either. Staff was ok. Mosquitoes in the room can outdo the census of the population in kollur. Our bathroom was good. For one night stay it is ok.

if you are looking for temple visit then this is a good choice. the staff is very friendly. parking is available. rooms are decent. hot water was available. Recommend for family stay.

This is a value for money hotel. Do not expect any luxury or great amenities. It's within walkable distance to the temple. Rooms are clean. Bathrooms are big and clean too. They should add 2 bath towels and additional blankets for double rooms Staff were very helpful. They arranged a cab for a trip to Murudeshwar. Overall nice stay. I stayed with family for 2 days. If your main purpose is to visit the temple, I will recommend this hotel.

it is not clean as expectedrooms are big. do not checkin before 12.if you checkin early. freshup room is worst

It was open even though our check in time was over, and they allowed us. Very clean place. Parking needs to be a bit more spacious, but it's enough. The bedrooms were huge, so there was enough space. Really comfortable sleep. The views were really beautiful. Really close to the temple. Restaurants nearby where Also good.

ProsCleanlinessConsBooked 4 bed AC room.No body even turn back after showing the room though it is un season visit.No one available in the reception to ask anything through out stay ofcourse 1 day only.No Almirah or cupboard available in the room, only a hanger stand was there. AC was provided to one corner of the room hence temperature varies and experienced uncomportable stay who sleeps in 2nd bed.Ceiling fan was there but can't control the speed as the regulator switch was broken. Whether use with full speed or don't use it.Room has a whole in the wall where AC was leaking. It was filled with therma coal. Refer photo.Hot water available with limited time. You can't go with your plan for Darshan.People were checking in and shouting all the night without any courtesy in disturbing others though they had kept the board that check in and checkout time is 10 am and not sure where were the hotel staffs.No restaurant available

The location of the Nandanam residency is on the main road and about 300 metres from the temple. The walls are tiled and hence the rooms are clean. The lift was not working properly and needs improvement. The staff is co-operative. Nearby facilities for simple South Indian food and tea are available.

The worst experience i have ever got. During peak time they increase rate to 3000 to 4000 but the facility ia worth 500. Never go for it if u have other options...
