Place was nice to hang out with friends for young people but there was nothing interesting for kids. They have only few birds rather than that the whole place was empty.
This place is good for having fun with friends. There are birds but no animals .
In Nandanvan zoo only birds are there, all the animals here have been shifted to Jungle Safari Naya Raipur. zoo is need to maintain properly , ok ok place for visit. ..

The zoo & safari are two different experiences available. Tickets are costed at 50 INR per head & kids tickets are not charged for. Canteen facility, clean & cold water facility available. Safari is worth every penny & lasts for an hr. Bear, Tiger, Dear, Lion are the various safaris included in one safari. Caged vehicles are there to pick & drop the visitors. Zoo is spread across 2-3 kms & is well maintained. Overall worth a visit.
One of calm places to see birds & for Kids to play on slides... best place during week days... just be careful not to carry any food into the zoo... also i hope the place will be maintained well & birds are cared for..
Better place to visit than Jungle Safari. I love this place. I've many memories with this place. It is very sad that very few animals are kept here. The govt shoult take a initiative action to make it alive in between the people. It's now only for the small picnic or for kids play. Atleast the govt should make this place interesting like the Bada Talab and make it more interseting.
