An amazing place for Coffee, Cake and Lunch. Came here most days during our stay. Coffee is very good and the quality of the Croissants are as good as I have had anywhere. Definitely worth trying their Lamb and Chicken burgers for Lunch or Dinner. Prices are also very reasonable.
Went here on 22/09/23. A quaint cafe located in la campala colony in Miramar. Peaceful. The staff were very polite and helpful. We had the almond filling croissant which was HEAVENLY, the filling was really good. The fried chicken burger was also AWESOME , the chicken was marinated and cooked perfectly, tender. The sauce was really tasty and went well with the pickled veggies. One of the best burgers I've had till now. The chocolate doughnut/eclairs was just about ok. Will definitely recommend Nanbai for a quick bite.
Nanbai is located in the heart of Margao. If you're looking for a cozy comfortable cafe to meet someone or maybe just sit to work with a drink, this is a very nice place with very nice ambience. What's even better is their staff. They're all smiles, warm and hospitable. We were hosted by Swizel and Shifa (I hope I got her name right). They both were wonderful at their job! The food I'm not very impressed I'd say. The presentation is neat and price is inclined towards the higher side for what's offered. The taste isn't all that great! Of course the dishes seem to be prepared with health in mind. We tried the Lamb Burger, Coriander Hummus Sandwich and Paneer Tikka Sandwich. These though were decent, the beetroot shreds were a spoiler. At least I didn't enjoy them. All in all a fair place to try out.
Great potential owing to the food. Nanbai has delicious and flavorful food, we tried the chicken cafreal baguette and the roast veggies baguette. Both super tasty. The baguette was toasty on the outside and soft from the inside. The regular coffee can be a little stronger. Their range of desserts looked tempting. We will be going back for that. The service can be improved. There is some confusion of it being a self serve cafe or not - clarity on that will help guests.
Well we were here at Nanbai of the Barbie theme partyand it was amazing!!! We really had a great time over here. The Barbie theme menu was ..... So we tried the Signature barbie cake, Bubble Gum Berliner and The Pink milkshake . The event was so so good as well as the food. Well looking forward for such events at Nanbai again in the near future would love to come here again.
Dark mocha was good. The right amount of coffee and too dark chocolate. Many would prefer it a bit less sweeter. The next best item was chicken baguette. The flavours were tangy and the bread was crusty.
We had a great evening here. The only disappointment was the filter coffee (which of course is not a filter coffee). Croissants were delicious loved them so much that we ordered twice best for dates
Amazing cafeteria with great croissant and breakfast options! Loved their confit chicken in croissant! Coffee options are also good! Great option for wfh people. Will definately recommend!
