The bus stand ambiance looks like neat and clean. But need to improve lot. Public toilet is available. But don't know how it is good. Nearby shops are available for essentials. Had a better experience with a shop owner. Really helpful. The buses are aviliable here to go nearest towns i.e., Attur, Rasipuram, Mullukuruchi, Thamampatti, Kallakurichi, Erode, and Salem.

There was a library in the busstand that I used to visit regularly during my school days; now it's nowhere. There was a car stand. That too vanished. Once it was the centre of sago business. Now it's also dwindling. The ground water quality has deteriorated. Since this is a hard rock terrain, the groundwater level in the aquifer has extensively gone down due to rampant borewells.
