Nalukettu Heritage Resort - Resort hotel in Varkala - Thiruvananthapuram, India

They cheated us of Rs. 67000. We called Nalukettu Heritage resort to book rooms for the New year 2023 two months before the date for 10 families. Initially he asked for advance but few days later he asked us to pay the full amount as it's the busiest time of the year. So we paid the full amount. But two days before the new year he called and said our bookings are cancelled. Also he said he will refund in a week. But he didn't. He hasn't refunded until today. We sought police support but still the owner Mr. Mithun Vinayumar never refunded. Don't choose this place. The owner is a cheat.

cheated us of Rs. 1,00,000 & spoiled our new year (2023) plans. Collected advance amount from us & double rented the property to somebody else. Police case is registered & enquiries going on. If you are from long distance, don't give advance amount.

***Please don't book this property and get cheated.*** We also got cheated in the last minute. They have the backing of local authorities with which they are cheating people booking from outside Kerala.

The stay at this particular resort felt like staying at home . Mithun and arathi ( resort owner) wer down to earth couple, treated and provided service with utmost care and kindness. The stay and food was great as well.

Overall experience was excellent and a must revisit again. Going in further details : 1. Staff service and attitude was really an attractive part of our stay.Mr. Mithun and his wife care taker of the resort were very friendly and supportive.Even while checking out they gave us a cold water bottle for the journey complimentary.Nice people :) . 2.Complimentary breakfast was decent and tasty with ample amount of food. 3.Room was spacious having a cooler and a small Fridge with attached washroom which was of quite moderate standard but good deal for the price they charge.Bedsheet and towel quality need to be improvised a little rest is fine. 4. Location of this property is awesome 2 min walk from the famous temple and 5 min walk from the beach. I truly recommend this resort.

Place and room was very beautiful and pleasant. Most appealing among everything was the caretaker, mithun, who was very pleasant charming and extremely helpful. He also helped with last minute changes that we wanted with our rooms. We were extremely thrilled and will surely revisit.

This is an amazing place to stay at, with friends or family. The ambience and customer service is the best. The staff are friendly people who makes sure that you are well taken care of. I had a comfortable and memorable stay here, and will make sure to come back if I return to Varkkala.

Honestly this place made our trip! We have been going for 5 months and was the perfect ending. Everyone at the resort went above and beyond. The breakfasts every morning we're sooo good and the dinners and lunches we awesome and so cheap. All made to order. Everyday we woke up to their smiles and we hated to leave. They fixed awesome yoga classes with anoop (He was amazing, I highly recommend his classes) massages which were great and drive us to and from town. You won't find a better place in the town. Thanks everyone. It was special. We'll be back :)
