Had Lunch which had both red rice n white rice along with sundakkai kulumbu, vallarai rasam, keerai kootu, vazhakkai kootu, beans poriyal, buttermilk plus vazhai poo vadai, sutta appalam n mildly sweet payasam. A different menu altogether wherein they don't use chillies, tamarind, garlic.
Yet the taste was good and digests well.
The second time i tried vegetable rice and half portion coconut rice. While the Vegetable rice had a distinct flavour and nice, the coconut rice was top notch.

Nalanda hotel is a dedicated hotel for millet varieties. The food is delicate, delicious and healthy. The hotel ambience could be improved, and can we kept clean and neat. Also the price can be made better.

Healthy, tasty and traditional foods . Different recipes are available with more nutritive ingredients. No chillies, maida, tamarind, artificial colours, artificial flavours & preservatives and less oil used. Suitable for children, old-age people & who with ulcers, indigestion problems, etc.
Had a great dinner. Initially thought this place wont suit for a great dinner, but, the dinner was awesome. Tried Appam, Kuthirai vali adai, tomoto uthappam( country tomoto)... all were awesome.. visited on Monday. Fixed menu and they will change everyday....its only organic food, like, no. Oil, onion, mirchi, mushroom, milk, etc...

It's all traditional and healthy food.. If you are outside of Tamil Nadu .. this is the best place to check out.. everyday menu differs.. I would highly recommend for everyone.. All health tips displayed.. Most importantly all food tastes so good..
This place is very good for a healthy food option. Out of usual dosa and idly they provide it in green leaves or multiple grains infused flour. On an average it would cost around Rs100 minimum for a person. They use no oil in any food if said prior. Chutney menu is not same all day as it keep changing everyday.

Excellent shop. No one sell Pasu manjal in Erode City. So I went to this Farmers Shop. Most of the items are grown and prepared by them. It's a farmer's family running the business. I will be buying regularly. They have cold pressed oils, all millets

The food is good. Very good actually. The restaurant was a little crowded, and the service was a little slow. It took them quite a while to serve lunch, even during peak lunch hours. The food is priced at a premium as well.
