Nagi dam bird sanctuary is a initiative of bihar government.This sanctuary is established in year 2021 by The honourable chief minister Mr. Nitish Kumar. This sanctuary is famous for pravashi pachi which comes in the season of cold from mid Asia. Also here you can do boating. Here good looking views of mountain,lake,field,village,etc. This a a good place for picnic. Here government organises fair at the time of new year and makar sankranti. This place is also known as kalrav pachi abhayaran.

Here boating is available at 50rs per person and entry fee for the Bird sanctuary is 5 RS per person. This place is little bit affected with excessive human interface in future because it not developing as or according to birds habitat. It's is developing as tourist attractions which quite good for areas growth but not good for bird's. Overall this is haven for bird's. And best place for people who want to know and see the international birds at hugh number. It's a humble request to all who is going to visit here is to maintain silance and don't do anything which affects the bird's life.
Good place to visit. It could be a good picnic spot. Approx 30 km from Jamui railway station. Nice road condition. Take help from google map to navigate. No proper public transport. Place is under developing process. Authorities r working on it. Safe environment. If u r looking for birds must use binocular. Winter is good time to visit. Boating facilities r not available yet(till dec 2021). U can visit once for sure.

Lots of migrate birds are easily found from October to February so more than thousands of people visit everyday in the winter season. This place is one of the best safe places for birds because the Nagi Nakti Bird sanctuary is surrounded by forest, rock, hillock and wetlands so birds feel here relax and safe.
