Nagaram Lake - Lake in Secunderabad - Hyderabad District, India

It's popularly known as Cherlapally Lake. Pleasant, peaceful and traffic free place. You can do morning walk here. In the evening some peaceful time. There are quite interesting birds viz Bee-eaters, Cormorants, egrets, river terns, painted storks, parrots, pond herons, spot-billed ducks, grey herons available in and around the lake. At present due to heavy rains the tank is full with water. You can do some religious rituals also at the lake. During idol immersion times lighting and police protection is also provided. The bund should be fortified around the lake. Some more benches and public toilets are to be arranged here. Not safe for bathing or swimming.

Nice place for walking/jogging beside the lake. GHMC can take care of this lake and can improve the infrastructure around the lake so that it can be made something similar to Hussain Sagar Lake. Cons 1. Stings a lot 2. No proper way for in/out 3. Local commuters making it dirty
