Nagameez: Ethnic Naga & Chinese Restaurant - North Eastern Indian restaurant in Guwahati - Kamrup Metro, India

As we entered the premises the aroma from the kitchen took us back to Nagaland. The dinning experience was good, my friend had Naga special port thali and I asked for Naga special chicken thali. The boiled pork and boiled fish were excellent but I think there was scope for improvement in case of the boiled chicken. I would have termed the whole experience as excellent but the absence of Anishi and Akhoni or either of them from the platter has held us back a step short from declaring it as excellent. As a whole we can say this is one of the best Naga food we have had around Guwahati. The staff and their service were also too good. I would definately go back again!

Went for dinner and thought of trying Naga Ethnic. Well first time and last time. As the taste was up to the mark, too chilli and others are quite normal. Prices are a bit high too. Service and atmosphere are good though. Good one but overall 5/10.

Been there the first time, I am quite impressed. We order Chicken Laipat and some pork dishes which were very tasty. Taste is completely natural and this restaurant really deserved all the food awards it got!

We went for afternoon lunch . We ordered pork thali and chilli chicken and fried rice . The pork thali consisted of 3 chutney and pork fried pieces . Pork with Lai Shaak was also served along with pork with bamboo shoot . Presentation was excellent. You can check the photos uploaded. As per taste is concerned , the food are not spicy and flavoured by use of tomato, garlic and ginger . Very healthy in sense when it comes to use of species and chilli. Taste I would say 8/10. You can have heart full of rice and come out with a heavy stomach. We had 3 times which costed us 690/- Honestly I found it bit on costlier end . Overall recommend. Taste rating : 1. Pork thali :8/10 2. Chilli chicken :7/10 3. Fried rice :7/10. Ambience is good with rock songs playing in background. In my 2nd visit I tried pork garlic chow and chilli pork , both tasted great.

The taste was not upto the mark. We visited the place to taste Naga style pork but were totally disappointed. There are now many small outlets in Guwahati which serves far better Naga dishes and at lower price

The place is very spacious and pretty. The service was good. You'll get the authentic naga taste. We tried the chicken thali which consisted of rice, Naga dal, boiled vegetables, chicken chutney, chicken with bamboo shoots, chicken with til and a dessert pink rice Kheer. Do try that!

A decent place to enjoy nagameese food in guwahati. The good thing about the place is you can ask for extra gravy if it's less on the first serving. However, I would say quantity wise it's slightly less but taste wise it's bravo. Appreciate the hospitality of the staff and to fulfill our demands for extra gravy.

We loved the food and ambience and service. Would love to visit soon. The pork pieces were perfectly cooked, moreover the size and portion of red meat and fat was equal while served.
