sir,Nandigram fort is very lovely and calm and cool place .if any high level person,take intraste to devolop it .all of original (old) nandedkar so much thank full..so please renew and devolope the fort to increase standered of Nanded.please.(make it outer and inner side beautiful)
The fort is abandoned. Not taken care of. Wild plants grow everywhere. The gate is usually closed and guarded but they allow you in to look around. There is a reading room which was closed however some students were sitting about enjoying the afternoon and reading. Nothing much to see as the place is not maintained, a little dangerous for kids as there is no railing or walls overlooking the edge. If you're a fort enthusiast then you may visit it to check it off your bucket list.
There is no fort there in Nanded. The fort was demolished in the past. There was not even a single visitor there when I visited the fort five days back. There is a water tanky to supply water to the nearby houses. There are some rooms for the stay of different security forces as they have to stay there time to time as told by some person there.
Truly a devastated place. There is nothing such as a fort. It has been converted into a water plant. You'll just see some bricks . Only thing you should visit this place for is to watch beutiful sunset on the shore of Godavari river!
