Kids will enjoy. Plan for this place and devarayan durgha temple together if you are coming from other places.
Naamadha Chillume deer park enroute Devarayana durga, a must visit green destination just 60km away from Bengaluru & just 3kM from Shree Siddhaganga Math
Good place to visit. Enough parking space for vehicles. There are deers inside the park which are taken care by forest department. One should not feed the animals. Recently renovation is done and new animal structures are placed all around the park. New boards with details of the nature and its wonders are put up. With children it'll be a good place to visit when you go to Devarayanadurga hills. Entry is 10ts per head (Adult) and 5rs for Children. Please do not litter the park when visited and do not allow children to sit on the structures and damage. Usually the renovation happens once in lifetime like and if we destroy them then we are damaging our own park
I enjoyed a lot with friends.... Nature is beautiful..... Park maintained very good...
Relaxed visit with friends. Seen the water resource oozing from a flat rock. Tasty water. Deer park impresses the kids in particular. Monkey menace in the gates and needs to be handled with patience.
Trekking track, well maintained by Karnataka forest department
Good place to visit in Tumkur district for a couple of hours. Excellent roads for driving. About 75-80 Kms from Bangalore. Entry fees is Rs10 for adults & Rs5 for kids. Not very crowded place. One can plan for this place after visiting Sree Siddaganga Mutt, which is at a distance of 9 kms from here. There is drinking water facility inside. There are few shops outside the gate where snack items could be found. You can park your vehicles outside the gate. Do note however that there is zero mobile network coverage here. Lots of deers could be seen. There are many monkeys in the area. Be careful with your items from getting snatched. This place has some mythological significance too. When in exile, Lord Rama in search of water had pierced the rock with His arrow, that led to the origin of this spring here. People consider this spring water holy.
