Naamadha Chilume - Tourist attraction in Tumakuru - default, India

It is a good place for a light trek. The place needs some maintenance. The walkway needs some cleaning. The arrow marks need to be more friendly.

Good place for tracking. There is also a historical significance of this place. Lord Ram has come to this place during his Vanvas. One day he needed water for doing tilak for which He shot the arrow in the rock and water started to come out. It is said that the water has been flowing continuously since then. A nice place to visit to know the historical aspects. And also a good place to for family and childrena. Because we are able to see the deers in a large numbers

This is a religious place where Ramachandra made a hole to get water to apply tilak on forehead. The last few kms to reach here is very scenic through the jungle. The ticket price is Rs 5, you can find a deer park also in the same place. Its a good weekend destination. You can combined Mydala Kere, Devarayandurga as well with this.

Nice park with deer. Good place to spend an afternoon. There was a hiking trail mentioned when you enter the park, but we couldn't locate it. There are a lot of monkeys around, so beware.

Nothing much , just some enclosure which holds spotted deers, and at the end there is a small cottage where Dr salim ali stayed in 1930s. But good maintained place in general.

We say Naamadha Chilume when we went for the Devarayana Durga trek. Clean park and nice place to spend a weekend morning.

Very nice place to visit. I liked the calm, green Rocky environment of this place.
