An airport that is just not a normal one, here's my review.. 1. Location : It's not so far away from the city so it doesn't take much time to travel, thanks to good roads. 2. Atmosphere : When I visited the June mid, it was not the Monsoon that arrived but it was really good neither hot nor cold. 3. Ambience: The moment I reached it was so small but not so small, the security check was really smooth. After getting inside it was like a maximum of 100 people. Even though it isn't as big as other airports but they have everything in place including stores having famous stuffs from the city and everything in place. 4. Airlines : It's having small aircraft Ari Alliance which I got in, initially it was like a bus inside and it was so hot , but then when it started and then everything was good and lastly the staff was really gentlemen and women.
Mysore airport is very small and very calm airport... Only 2 numbers of boarding gates are available but mostly only one gate is operated as there very few flights from Mysore airport... Only flights for Hydrabad, Chennai and Goa Staffs are very courteous and co-operating ... Here security is with State Government police not with CISF as other airports of India. Very cam and peaceful airport
Small airport. Few counters only 4 to 5 flights in a day. Airport has all basic facilities. We have to scan our bags before checkin. No restaurants inside. Only one small snack bar. Very small Security hold area. Sometimes you have to walk to the aircraft from the gate or to the arrival area. It would be nice.
Small and Decent Airport located on the southern perimeter of the Mysore City in Karnataka. These place is Clean , tidy and Neat ,the security troop were upto the mark, the washroom was clean and Hygienic ones, small parking space available, with one or two merchandise shop , almost 8-9 flights land on the runway every day so being a small scale industry this place maintain it's dignity to the far off level. Also the Crew member were polite and humble and also interactive ones so I am giving a five star rating for this. Someone just pointed out in the review that inorder to commute in the city only local taxis are available.
Located at the outskirts of the city and easy road access by own vehicle. Only few flights are operated from this airport, less crowded and staff were very friendly and they guide you at each stage till boarding. 2 food outlets are available inside the airport for eatables. Overall well maintained, friendly staff and less crowded airport.
Simple, Clean and well maintained. Staffs and personnels are very supportive. Overall process was smooth and quick as there are very few passengers in and out daily. Parking is available at open space, 150rs / day for both car and bike.
Extremely clean, extremely small. Taking one star out because there is no public transit to the city, and uber/ola are banned inside which makes this place a monopoly for the taxi company. This airport is cwrt small, currently about 8 flights land daily, and most of not all are propeller engines due to the siZe of the runway. The staff is out of this world kind, and it is extremely clean. Add transit back and you guys have a winning combo.
