Myst Resort - Resort hotel in Sakleshpura, Makkihalli - Hassan, India

Our experience this resort was amazing and memorable. We went with our kids and had a great time enjoying the pool and the scene. Though amenities are not many but the place is beautiful. Rooms are old design which gives a cozy feel. Food is just so tasty and homely. Staff is very cooperative specially Deepak who looks after each and every aspect of comfort to his clients. Had a great time, thank you MYST.

The resort does not have a menu to offer. They offered two items for breakfast, which was purchased from outside. The day we reached we had opted for lunch, which was pathetic to say the least . Although the room was clean the TV and AC remote were running on old batteries and did not work . Wifi was not working the day we landed and was fixed a day later . Dinner was purchased from a nearby restaurant as we complained that lunch was bad . Again this was not to the level we expected. They clearly have issues with food and we did not see anyone actively cooking here. The common area and pathway were not well lit , we had to resort to flash light on our mobile . The saving grace is the manager Deepak who spoke well and was courteous. He acknowledged the problem but was unable to fix it as he is not a cook. I will not recommend this place if your going wir family.

Myst is an amazing resort located about 10-15 kms from the main city. The property is simply beautiful and picturesque, especially in the evenings. It is also extremely quiet and peaceful throughout the day. The newly appointed staff is extremely hospitable and accommodating. They also arrange for a bonfire every night. Leave the food recommendations to the chef and they will make you an amazing meal. The cottage rooms are also very spacious and well maintained.

My experience in this resort was not so very well, there was no electricity back up in the resort and electricity fluctuations are too many , it made us stay in dark and this resort doesn't have much enough staff. Swimming pool was not maintained and no other amenities are available, TV and AC remotes were also not working. Resort is under renovation.The only positive thing i can think about the resort is sunset view point which is opposite to the resort. Room and Food is ok, they will prepare according to our requirements. Staff is not welcoming and enthusiastic. Overall the nature is pleasant and view is good.

We loved the Place, Food, Rooms, Location, Staff. Everything was very organised. Evening truly breathtaking view. Food was very homely and very tasty. Rooms wer clean and with every facilities. Staff specially Mr. Deepak, was so kind and help. More Amenities, specially for kids could have been the best. The place is actually very quite and had a beautiful view. Overall we had a Great time.

Except swimming pool no other amenities is there in this resort. Rooms are very old looks ancient. There were no lights in the resort, even in the room its blinking. We had scary stay here. Except near by Sun Set View point, nothing is encouraging here. Though hospitality was good but place is scary. Food is not bad. But don't get fooled by the pics like me. My wife and son both didn't like it and scolded me for booking this. If You are adventurous All the best.

It was ok for budget stay. The coffee cups had moss in them inside the room. The cutlery had moss in the mess and they were worms in the water that was served to us in the canteen. Hygiene really needs an improvement.

Apart from scenic natural beauty nothing was good about this place. Food was pathetic, can't imagine how can they serve such pathetic food to humans. They mentioned in veg they will serve veg thali and what we got was dal, chapati and half cooked rice. Fir that they charged us 500 per person. Non veg food was again worst with smelly fish, all waste chicken pieces with human hair and uncooked chapati. Rooms were good but they don't have any light arrangement during night and that makes the place more haunted during night time. During our stay there was no electricity during night and in morning they mentioned that it was because of rain. Resort is at such a nice scenic location that you can stay inside the resort and enjoy swimming pool and stay between nature. Small suggestion if they can provide decent food and add some water sports it will be an advantage for them in future. Swimming pool was the only best option to spend your time at this place.
